Our Mission Statement
The purpose of the Texas Pre-Dental Society is to provide a source of information in order to educate and prepare students about the field of dentistry and various aspects of the dental profession. Membership is open to all UT students interested in the field of dentistry. The society invites key members of the admissions board from each of the three dental schools in Texas to speak to our group. In addition, the society organizes field trips to dental schools, gives a mock Dental Admissions Test sponsored by Kaplan, offers a mentor/shadow program, and has guest speakers-- such as dentists and dental students--talk to our society. The group is also involved in community service as well as social events.
How to Join
Active Member Status
Active Members are required to:- Pay membership dues.
- Attend 4 out of 6 general meetings.
- Attend 1 community service event.
- Attend 1 social event.
